DEREK MASON MUSIC PRODUCTIONS is a music recording and production studio in Vancouver, British Columbia, owned and run by Derek J. Mason, a guitarist, composer and music producer. As a seasoned session musician, he is well versed in many genres of the guitar: Electric, Acoustic, Flamenco, Rock Fusion, Club and Jazz. His background includes working as a classical jazz guitar soloist for Royal Caribbean Celebrity Cruise Lines, art exhibitions, etc., in contrast to playing in a Jeff Beck type three-piece fusion rock band (First Aid) and hard rock groups. Many consider Derek to be one of the top guitarists in the country. Along with his formidable guitar skills are Derek's multi-instrumental abilities, which is why Derek Mason Music Productions has been proving to be ideal for any artist seeking to make a record.
